12. Bought 3 DHGate shirts. 1 was poor with small badge and wouldn't be seen in public. The feel in the vinyl print is obvious with the genuine having a more rubberised texture that will last longer. Adults should always size up!! I prefer to collect 'used genuine' now.

13. Have the materials on the fake shirts been improved over the last few years? I borrowed a fake from a buddy for a local club and it felt like a hot box wearing it in summer, compared to the stadium or match jerseys which are much more breathable

20. for £70 differance the changes are managable, clubs are ripping fans off left right and centre, they could easily push these out for 40-50 and make a profit, same with the tv deals and iptv

23. The problem isn't people are forced to go fake, it's that they've slowly but surely taken football away from the real fans. High prices for tickets, merch and strips has priced out a lot of fans. The fact of the matter is, the fakes have proven just how much the big companies are fleecing the regular Joe. Chelsea and Liverpool shirts selling for over £100 quid when a near identical copy costs less than 15£.
    If they can make fan and player versions, the fans version shouldn't be over £50

28. Buy a shirt at the end of the season when they’re half price. Club still gets your money but you’re not paying over the odds. Never bought fakes, usual crap quality.

32. Most fakes nowadays are really good. I cringe every time I buy a new Arsenal shirt, its crazy money! My only problem is I've been collecting them for decades and have all of them, it would really bug me if some of them were fake, and obviously there would be no future value in them.
