  5. Rick, thx for the positive feedback here! If you can find it, check out my other posting (yes, I was annoyed enough to post twice!). Anyway, just hope they DO something about it. Even getting rid of the stars and fake laces, putting the logo over the red stripe they should run along the bottom would improve this sucker… oh… by about 100%.There's still x!

  16. Less is better when it comes to hockey jerseys. Take away the stars, the fake laces, add a red stripe to the bottom–w/ the Nike "swoosh" there, on the periphery where it belongs rather than flanking the crest–& you've improved this puppy by at least 50%. The best jerseys also have an Intimidation Factor about them. I remember the 1st x I saw the Bruins in St. Louis (70s). They looked like a swarm of black & gold hornets, & their jerseys gave them a 1-0 lead before the puck was even dropped!

  19. The best thing about the new jerseys? There's still x to fix something that makes the original WA Caps jersey look like a masterpiece. Stars? Faux laces? Somebody wake up the Nike design team–unless this was their idea of a joke. Since when does the Nike "swoosh" share top billing w/ The US Crest? Nike should take a page from the Hawks & the Habs, the Wings & the Leafs if they wanna know what a classic jersey looks like. & run a red stripe along the bottom while you're at it. We deserve better!

  26. It reminds me of how the Leafs jerseys used to be from 2007-10. They looked bland because they took out the stripes on the bottom and that's all it took to make them look good again.

    I never thought I'd see my favorite american player again after his somewhat disappointing and sudden retirement. Great to see him again.

    Thanks for the video Rick, gave me hope to see Drury more in the future. Keep up the great work and please do more hockey stuff with a few more teams!
